Topic – WW2

Some of the children have finished preparing their topic folders and they look fantastic – some have asked if they can continue over the Easter Holidays – yes of course!

A date for your diary  – Thursday 26th April – Evacuation Day and Tea Party

The children will be asked to come into school dressed in 1940’s style clothing as we re-enact what the experience of evacuation may have been like.  We will also be holding a tea party in the afternoon, inviting guests who would be happy to share their own personal experiences of living in Guernsey during the war.

If you know of someone who would like an invitation to come up and share their experiences please let us know as we would love to get in touch with them to ask them along.
