There will be no cycling tomorrow afternoon for Mrs Shillito’s class as the children will be doing a theory lesson and will not need their bikes.

We were absolutely taken aback by the games created last term and they were an exciting way to practise targets. For the launch of this term’s Rainbow maths targets, we would like the children to come up with another game that they could play to test either one or both of their personal targets. It could be a paired game, team game or individual target practice. They could use dice, number cards, question cards, a board… the list is endless. They could even create their own ‘Showdown’ cards. The more exciting the game, the more they will practise and the better they will be at their target.
Our theme this term is doubling and halving, so their game could test either or both.
Please bring games to school by Friday 26th January.
