Pied Piper Cast – Reminders!

Hi Team,

Thanks for all your fantastic work this week – the show is really coming together!  I can’t wait to show it to audiences after half term.

Rehearsals

Monday 4th June – rehearsal 3.00 – 4.30 in the hall.

Wednesday 6th June – DRESS rehearsal 3.00 – 4.30 in the hall.  Please bring all costume items including shoes and socks. Costumes will need to be left at school on this day until after the final performance.

These are our final rehearsals before performing to the school, so you must be there!

Tickets

There are still tickets available, and you are now free to buy as many as you want for any performance.  Tickets will be available before and after school for the whole week beginning 4th June.  We will also have tickets available to buy after rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday.

Front of house display

Please complete your front of house picture over half term and return it to Miss Simpson, neatly cut out.  If you have lost your copy, you can download one here:

Jersey Residential Trip

Dear Parents,

We are delighted to report that we have had a very successful residential trip. We had a great time at the zoo and the orangutans even put on a bit of a show for us! We also had the pool at aqua splash to ourselves and enjoyed the flumes, lazy river and wave machine.

Chicken Pox

On the trip we have discovered, although unconfirmed, a case of the chicken pox. Should anyone need any further advice about chicken pox please see the nhs website or check with your own GP.

We have been impressed with the high standards of behaviour from the children and have received many compliments from the general public too!

We hope that the children have all had a fantastic time, they are still smiling even though they are now very tired.

Wishing you all a restful half term,

Year 5 Residential Team

Jersey Residential Trip Update

After a smooth ferry crossing yesterday and arriving safely at the hostel, we spent some time exploring Gorey Beach and enjoying the view of the magnificent castle.

Today we started off with a visit to the Jersey War tunnels before heading off for some action at Creepy Valley. The children will be coming back with tales of zip wiring, obstacle courses and some even conquering fears and overcoming personal challenges! What a day!

Everyone is happy and well and we look forward to seeing you at the harbour tomorrow.
